Women's Ministry

Pro 31:30-31 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
This ministry is a welcoming and nurturing space for women to connect with one another, deepen their relationship with Christ, and grow in their faith. Our mission is to encourage and equip women of all ages to live out their unique, God-given purpose, strengthening them through intentional fellowship, biblical study, prayer, and service. Here, you will find a supportive sisterhood where you can rejoice with each other, weep with each other, celebrate victories with each other, and find strength in facing life's challenges with each other. We invite you to join us as we seek to reflect God's love and wisdom in our homes, church, and communities.
Opportunities for involvement include (but not limited to):
· Women’s bible class: taught every Wednesday at 7:00pm, Point of Contact: Roberta Wheeler
· Women’s personal growth class: meets every Monday at 6:30pm, Point of Contact: Roberta Wheeler
· Meal Service: provided every Wednesday at 5:45pm at the church building, Point of Contact: Connie Brannon
· Take them a meal: provided as needed for members of the church that are sick and/or afflicted, Point of Contact: Connie Brannon
· Compassion cards: written and sent every Sunday at 5:00pm, Point of Contact: Chasity Crouse
· Ladies luncheon: occurs every month on the third Thursday at 11:30am at various locations, Point of Contact: Sandi Adkinson
· Leaderettes: women help, support, and teach our young ladies to lead other women in song, prayer, and speeches. This activity occurs year-round and meets at various times, Point of Contact: (speech and prayer), Nikki McCullough (song leading and prayer)
· Bridal and Baby Showers: assures that the women of the congregation have the shower needed for their special event, Point of Contact: Christine Waild
· Visitation and services for the widows and the elderly, as needed, Point of Contact: Shirley Steele
· Ornament exchange: occurs annually during the month of December-next scheduled meeting is December 6, 2026, Point of Contact: Christine Waild

We also offer additional opportunities to study the word of God:
· Individual bible studies: taught by multiple women who are mature in the scripture and scheduled as requested and needed, Point of Contact: Roberta Wheeler
· World Bible School correspondence courses: taught by multiple women who are mature in the scripture and scheduled as requested and needed, Point of Contact: Roberta Wheeler
